Age Of Pirates Expanded Edition teaser trailer released

Age of Pirates is an upcoming action RPG set in the Caribbean during the 17th century. The game is currently in development by independent Ukrainian studio Crazy Horse Games and is slated for release in Q4 2019.

The game will be available on PC, Mac, Linux, PS4 and Xbox One. Age of Pirates is a spiritual successor to 2010's Age of Pirates: Captain Blood developed by Akella.

The game tells the story of an aspiring captain, seeking wealth and fame in the treacherous waters of the Caribbean. Players will explore a vast open world, full of naval battles, settlement building, and other pirate activities.

Combat will be fast paced and brutal, with players using swords, pistols and muskets to kill their enemies. Players can also choose to board enemy ships and battle them hand-to-hand on deck.

The game will also feature a deep role-playing system, with players able to upgrade their ship, crew and equipment as they see fit. Players can also find valuable treasures hidden throughout the world, which can be sold for profit.

plankton_games, a development team of two people, is hard at work on Age of Pirates Expanded Edition. They are a small indie studio that focuses on developing casual and mobile games.

Age of Pirates Expanded Edition is a remastering of their previous game, Age of Pirates - Caribbean Tales. It is a fully 3D open world pirate adventure game set in the Caribbean. You can play as a pirate, merchant, or even a naval officer!

The game has been completely rebuilt from the ground up with new graphics, mechanics, and story. The team has been working on it for over a year and they are very excited to show it to the world.

In an interview with plankton_games, we were able to get some insights into the development process and what players can expect from the new game.

What inspired you to create Age of Pirates?

A combination of our love for pirates and adventure movies, coupled with the freedom that sandbox games offer was what originally drove us to create Age of Pirates. We wanted players to feel like they could go anywhere and do anything in a pirate-inspired world.

How has the game changed since its original release?

We've completely rebuilt Age of Pirates from scratch for Expanded Edition. This means new graphics, mechanics, and most importantly - A NEW STORYLINE! Players can expect to experience all new locations, characters, and challenges throughout their adventure.

What are your favorite aspects of the game?

There are too many features to list but some of our favourites include sailing your ship around the open sea, boarding other ships in epic ship-to-ship combat, exploring lush jungles and ancient ruins, and interacting with an engaging cast of characters. We also think that our visual effects for things like fire and clouds really add to the immersion factor!
